What happens during these final days before closing?

We are getting VERY close to the closing date so that means it’s almost time to get the keys to your new home! Your professional agent will schedule your signing appointment with escrow and review with you the estimated closing statement just before the appointment. This statement will include all the figures related to the purchase of your home including lender’s expenses and the amount Escrow will need you to wire to escrow on your signing day.

Then will come the final walk through. This is the opportunity for you and your Graham Team agent to spend time looking over the place – inside and out, room by room – to make sure everything is as it was at the time of you purchased the home. This is also the e time to confirm that the seller made the agreed upon repairs and that you are satisfied with the repairs.

The last step before you receive your keys is the loan funding and title transfer. Your lender will wire funds to escrow, if you have a loan, the day of closing. Escrow will release the deed for recording once they have received the lender’s funds. Your Graham Team agent will let you know when escrow has released the deed for recording and when the title of the home has officially been transferred to you. This is the home stretch!
